Quitting is not one of my habits, thankfully. I am stubbornly, doggedly persistent about pursuing my dreams even when it (sometimes) takes years to bring them to full bloom. I think the key to my own personal brand of success, which works for me, is to 'do what I love and love what I do'. It is a thread that has been woven through my pursuits since my early teen years. Finding something that you love to do in life - whether for work (the best alternative), or as hobbies (also a fabulous, fulfilling source of joy) is one key to having a happy, rewarding life. Writing and photography are passions that I discovered early on and I can't imagine life without them. Another equally important key to success is to kick doubt and fear to the curb and embrace failure. At the end of the day, failure can launch you toward success if you learn your lessons and move forward with optimism and patience. I am willing to fall flat on my face if it means I eventually will reach my dreams, or achieve even a small portion of my goals.
