It is easy and probably more fun to reach for a candy bar to satisfy cravings . . . likewise, it is harder to develop cravings for fruit and veggies, but it is indeed very doable. I deserve a failing grade for letting my 'salad habit' drop to the bottom of my priority list, and it is something that I intend to work on this Spring and Summer. Fresh produce stands will soon dot the roadside and the Farmers Market are re-opening in Fredericksburg, so fresh, local produce will be easy to find. I plan to put 'greens' back on top of my 'must eat list' and make salads a daily habit once again. Salads are an easy way to pack a lot of veggies and, in turn, vitamins into meals.
With that in mind, I intend to 'Make Greens Non-Negotiable', as part of my Second Annual I Resolve To . . . Challenge: 365 Resolutions For Health & Happiness. Why not join me?
