They say a picture is worth a thousand words - here are some of my favorite 'Daily Resolves' taken from my health and happiness tapestry (photo resolutions that chronicle my daily journey toward good health and happiness). We just passed the mid-point in the year, why not start down your own path toward greater health and happiness. You don't have to wait for the New Year to make a resolution or begin working toward a dream - start right now during the wonderful 'dog days of summer'.
I love making and keeping New Year Resolutions - in fact, 2011 marks the seventh year of my effort to learn and practice the most effective ways to make resolutions a reality without turning your life upside down or marrying a millionaire. One lesson that I have learned: small daily steps toward health, happiness and personal dreams add up to big results over time. Instead of making a long list of things that you hate about yourself, and your life (which you will promptly ignore) devote your time and attention to all the things that bring joy to your life and promote a sense of well being and accomplishment.
With that in mind, consider joining me in my Third Annual I Resolve To . . . Challenge: 365 Resolutions For Health & Happiness. The objective is very simple: Do at least one thing each and every day to promote health and happiness for 'YOU'. Banish the 'Someday, Someday, Someday Syndrome'.
